Frucor Australia is working with Oz Harvest, Australia’s first perishable food rescue organisation. Oz Harvest collects quality excess food from more than 2000 commercial outlets and delivers it, free of charge, to more than 900 charities.
Frucor employees are able to take one-day’s paid volunteer leave per year, which encourages staff to contribute to the well-being of the wider community. In 2016, team members from the Sydney and Queensland offices donated their time to help out at their local Foodbank.
Surf Lifesaving New Zealand
Frucor New Zealand’s h2go team has partnered with Surf Life Saving New Zealand to ensure donations of 10 cents per bottle purchased through participating petrol stations.
Books in Homes
Frucor has been a proud sponsor of Books in Homes since February 2003, supporting Dawson Primary School in Otara, South Auckland. This initiative was developed to help break the cycle of ‘booklessness’ and the 460 pupils are each given at least five books a year, which they get to choose and keep.
