Neala Hart takes out the NZIFST Young Technologist award

The New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology (NZIFST) held their annual awards last week. The Awards recognise leadership, best practice and innovation and showcase up-and-coming talent.

We’re incredibly proud to share the exciting news that one of our own up-and-coming talented team members has taken out the Young Technologist Award! Congratulations to Senior Product Development Technologist, Neala Hart!

The Award recognises achievement and leadership potential within the food industry.

Ruth Muller, Director of Research, Development & Invention is thrilled by the acknowledgment and credibility the team has received by their industry peers. “This is THE industry group for food technologists in New Zealand, and Neala’s accolade is high profile recognition from an influential group that’s at the top of their field.”

NZIFST members come from across the major Universities and public groups in New Zealand and the awards are judged by a panel of industry experts.

“It’s incredible recognition for our people, but also helps us attract amazing new talent through the Grad Programme by raising our profile as an innovative beverage company”

This is the second consecutive year that a Frucor Suntory team member has been awarded the title. In 2019, Marianna McEwan won the Young Technologist Award. At Frucor Suntory we have an in-house Research and Development team committed to driving innovation in the beverage industry and making our drinks better. They work hard to understand what consumers want and much of their work is embedded in the Yatte Minahare spirit,  creating new ideas and bringing them to life.

Congratulations Neala! We’re proud you’re part of our team with a hunger to make our drinks better!
