• Through light weighting, we’re using less plastic in our bottles. Our new blowfill line will reduce our PET usage by approximately 50 tonnes across our CSDs and V energy drink range.
• We are also working hard with other brand owners to develop effective product stewardship schemes so that we can all dispose of our packaging properly.
• We’re always looking out for new materials that are more environmentally friendly.
• We are using the Packaging Impact Quick Evaluation Tool (PIQET) to assess the sustainability of our packaging choices and we have incorporated these assessments in our new product development process
• We also have the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Mix mark on our new McCoy 1 litre and new Just Juice 50% Less 1 litre juices Tetra Paks®.
• Our Tetra Paks® are made from plastic-coated paperboard and the FSC Mix mark guarantees that none of the categories of wood that are considered unacceptable went into our packs.
