Terms and Conditions for V $21,000 Promotion

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The promotion is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this promotion (including all participating retailers), and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
3. Entries by any person younger than 18 years old at the time of the relevant draw will be considered invalid.
4. The promotion consists of a weekly competition, to be run each week 12:01am 1st October 2018 until 11:59pm 29th October 2018 (the “Promotional Period”).
5. To enter the Promotion, purchase any two V branded products (“Qualifying Products”) in a single transaction from any participating retailer (participating retailers are Z Energy, Mobil, Caltex/FIX, Night n Day, and Red Circle Promo Group), and text the entry code from your scratch card to 8552. Scratch cards will be held by counter staff and will be available to participants at the time of purchase of the Qualifying Products.
6. Qualifying Products for this Promotion include the V 250ml Can Range, V 350ml Bottle Range, V 500ml Can Range, V 500ml PET Range, V Pure Range, V Iced 500ml Range, V 710ml, V 4x300ml Multipack, V 4x350ml Multipack, and V Pocket Rocket 60ml.

8. You may enter the Promotion as many times as you like during the Promotional Period provided that each entry is through a separate purchase of two of the Qualifying Products in one transaction. Purchases of more than two Qualifying Products in the same transaction will not constitute multiple entries.
9. Each entry made during the Promotional Period will only constitute an entry for that week’s draw. The entry will not carry on in to pool of entries for the following week. The relevant week and draw dates are:
• Week 1: 1st October to Sunday 7th October (prize draw 8th October onwards)
• Week 2: 8th October to Sunday 14th October (prize draw 15th October onwards)
• Week 3: 15th October to Sunday 21st October (prize draw 22nd October onwards)
• Week 4: 22nd October to Monday 29th October (prize draw 30th October onwards).
10. The prizes will be one cash prize of $21,000 per week during the Promotional Period (the ‘Weekly Prize’). This amounts to a total prize pool of $84,000, or four Weekly Prizes.
11. The Weekly Prize is not transferable or changeable.
12. The winner(s) will be determined by random electronic selection at the offices of Raydar, as soon as reasonably practicable following the conclusion of each week during the Promotional Period as set out in clause 9 above. The winner(s) will be the first valid entries randomly drawn from all valid entries submitted for that week.
13. The winners will be contacted by phone to the phone number used at the time of text entry.
14. In the event that an ineligible entry is drawn or the Promoter is unable to contact a winner within 7 days of the prize draw, having made reasonable attempts to do so, the Promoter may deem that winner’s entry invalid and select a new winner on the same terms as the original Weekly Prize draw.
15. To the extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this Promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected or incorrectly submitted entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems or human error. The time entries are deemed to be made will be the time the entry is received, not the time the entry is submitted.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any cost incurred by an entrant in entering the Promotion.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to disallow entries in its absolute discretion and without giving reasons.
18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a Weekly Prize where false or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion.
19. By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
20. All competition entries become the property and copyright of the Promoter. By entering this Promotion, entrants assign copyright in their entry to the promoter.
21. The winners acknowledge and agree that they will comply with all instructions given by employees of the Promoter and other agencies associated with this Promotion, and agree not to do anything that may bring the Promoter into disrepute.
22. The winners agree that as a condition of their participation in, or receipt of, a Weekly Prize, they may be required to execute a waiver and indemnity in the form provided by the Promoter.
23. If a winner cannot accept a Weekly Prize for any reason, their Weekly Prize will be void and no compensation will be payable.
24. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
25. All decisions made by the Promoter, its employees, or its agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. If the Promotion is not able to operate as anticipated for any reason, the Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of the Promotion (including any Weekly Prize) at any time in its sole discretion.
27. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Weekly Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected; (d) any variation in a Weekly Prize; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a Weekly Prize.
28. As a condition of participating in or receiving a Weekly Prize, the winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with this Promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including costs on a solicitor-client basis) which the winner may incur arising out of their participation in the Promotion and/or participating in the Weekly Prize, howsoever caused.
29. The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided by entrants for the purposes of this promotion and for future promotional purposes, research, marketing, surveys and other purposes associated with the Promoter’s business. Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a Weekly Prize. Entrants acknowledge that all personal information provided by entrants will be collected and held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and request correction of any such personal information, and may do so by sending an email to raydarpromotion@gmail.com.
